1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 beaten egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface until it’s about an inch larger than your pie dish.
Place one rolled-out crust into your pie dish.
In a medium bowl, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Mix gently until berries are coated.
Pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared crust.
Cover with another rolled-out pie crust and seal the edges securely.
