Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp rice vinegar
8 soft flour or corn tortillas
2 cups shredded cabbage
4 green onions, finely sliced
Instructions
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and rice vinegar. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade (reserve marinade) and cook each breast for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Baste occasionally with leftover marinade.
Transfer cooked chicken to a cutting board and let rest for five minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
Warm tortillas and layer with shredded cabbage and teriyaki chicken slices. Top with sliced green onions and additional toppings as desired.
Drizzle extra sauce or spicy mayo if desired. Enjoy fresh!
