Ingredients
Scale
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
2 tbsp fresh minced garlic
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
In a bowl, generously season the steak pieces with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until sizzling.
Add the seasoned steak pieces in a single layer (you may need to work in batches). Sear without moving for about 2 minutes until browned, then flip and brown on all sides.
Once seared, reduce heat to medium-low. Add minced garlic and remaining butter to the pan. Sauté gently until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Remove from heat and immediately sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan over the hot steak bites, allowing it to melt slightly.
Transfer to plates and drizzle with additional melted garlic butter if desired. Serve hot.
