  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually fold in flour until just combined.
  3. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Bake for about 20 minutes or until set but soft in the center.
  4. While baking, whisk together banana pudding mix and milk until thickened; set aside.
  5. Once the brownie base cools slightly, spread the banana pudding mixture over it, then dollop remaining brownie batter on top.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean with some moist crumbs.
  7. Serve warm or chilled, topped with whipped cream.
