  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to about 110°F. Combine with yeast and let sit until frothy.
  2. Mix in melted butter, flour, and eggs until smooth. Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until elastic.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned; add whisked eggs and scramble together.
  5. Roll out risen dough, spread the sausage and egg mixture evenly, sprinkle with cheese, then roll tightly.
  6. Cut into pieces, place on greased baking sheets, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 375°F.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
