  • 8 ounces cremini or button mushrooms
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly. Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces and mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and tender (about 5 minutes).
  3. Stir in minced garlic with the sautéed mushrooms. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Gently fold in fresh spinach, cooking until wilted (about 3 minutes).
  5. Pour in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and stir continuously until well combined. Let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasonings if necessary.
