  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut out skull shapes using a cookie cutter.
  4. Place a tablespoon of beef mixture on half of each skull cutout, sprinkle with more cheese, and cover with another skull piece. Seal edges tightly.
  5. Whisk the egg with a tablespoon of water and brush over each skull.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
