Ingredients
Scale
1 lb flank or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups jasmine or basmati rice
2 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
1 cup broccoli florets, lightly blanched
Instructions
Cook rice according to package instructions. Set aside.
Thinly slice the steak against the grain into strips about half an inch thick.
In a bowl, combine steak strips with teriyaki sauce. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil. Add marinated steak strips along with any remaining marinade. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until desired doneness.
In another pan, stir-fry bell peppers and broccoli until vibrant and crisp, around 3 minutes.
Start with a scoop of warm rice in each bowl. Top with cooked steak, stir-fried veggies, sesame seeds, and green onions. Drizzle additional teriyaki sauce if desired.
