Ingredients
Scale
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz shell pasta (whole wheat or gluten-free, if preferred)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add shell pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper, then sear them for approximately 4 minutes until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
Reduce heat to medium-low in the same skillet. Add remaining tablespoon of butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Gradually add Parmesan cheese until melted and well-combined. If too thick, adjust with reserved pasta water.
Combine cooked pasta and seared steak in the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, tossing gently until evenly coated.
