  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/chicken)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove outer leaves from the cabbage; cut into quarters and blanch in boiling water for about 3 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Lay each cabbage leaf flat; scoop filling onto each leaf and roll tightly like a burrito.
  5. Place seam side down on a lined baking sheet; lightly spray with cooking spray. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
