  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Sear the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat to medium; add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in heavy cream and soy sauce until well combined.
  4. Add grated parmesan cheese and dried Italian herbs, stirring until incorporated and heated through.
  5. Return the seared chicken to the skillet or transfer to your baking dish. Pour any remaining sauce over the chicken and bake for approximately 20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with extra sauce drizzled on top alongside your favorite sides.
