Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and brown sugar until well combined.
In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add vegetable oil and eggs; mix until fully incorporated.
Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients while stirring gently. Fold in chopped walnuts.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once cooled completely, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until fluffy. Spread generously over one layer before stacking on top of the other layer.
