  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 4 slices sourdough bread

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In another pan, cook bacon strips until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  4. On one slice of sourdough bread, spread ranch dressing generously. Layer with cooked chicken, crispy bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Top with another slice of bread.
  5. Brush the tops of the sandwiches with melted butter mixed with garlic powder. Bake on the prepared baking sheet for about 10-12 minutes or until cheese melts and bread is golden brown.
