Creamy Banana Pepper Chicken Dip is a zesty and indulgent appetizer that combines tender chicken and vibrant banana peppers for a crowd-pleasing delight at any gathering.

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup jarred banana peppers, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken breasts for about 7-10 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Allow to cool slightly, then shred into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the chopped banana peppers and shredded chicken until well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
