- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and minced
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger, and cornstarch until well combined.
- Place the seasoned chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Pour half of the orange sauce over the chicken and toss gently to coat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until cooked through and tender. Toss halfway through cooking for even flavor distribution.
- Drizzle any remaining sauce over the chicken before serving. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
