  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger, and cornstarch until well combined.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Pour half of the orange sauce over the chicken and toss gently to coat.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until cooked through and tender. Toss halfway through cooking for even flavor distribution.
  6. Drizzle any remaining sauce over the chicken before serving. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
