  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 4 soft pita pockets
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped oregano, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F/190°C). Alternatively, use a grill pan on the stove.
  3. Place marinated chicken on the grill. Cook each side for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C). Remove from grill and let rest.
  4. Slice pita bread in half to create pockets. Warm them on the grill if desired.
  5. Slice rested chicken into strips. Stuff each pita pocket with chicken slices, crumbled feta cheese, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and any additional toppings you prefer.
  6. Finish by drizzling tzatziki sauce inside each wrap before serving.
