  • 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  • 4 oz thick-cut bacon, diced
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for glazing)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced bacon until crispy. Let cool.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground beef, cooked bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, cheddar cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
