Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter. Cook chicken for about 6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  2. Boil salted water in a pot and cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Lower heat; stir in heavy cream and gradually add cheeses until melted and creamy. Use reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  5. Slice chicken and return it to the skillet along with cooked linguine, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce. Toss to combine.
