  • 24 Oreo cookies (for crust)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cups red velvet cake mix
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, then blend in eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream until combined.
  3. Gently fold in the red velvet cake mix until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter over the crust, dollop remaining batter on top, and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Turn off oven and cool inside for an hour.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before slicing and serving.
