  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare Your Potatoes: Peel and chop the potatoes into even chunks.
  2. 2. Boil Those Taters: Place potato chunks in a large pot, cover with cold water, add a pinch of salt, and boil until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
  3. 3. Roast Your Garlic: Wrap garlic cloves in foil, drizzle with olive oil, seal tightly, and roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Drain & Mash: Once potatoes are tender, drain them well and return to the pot over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Use a potato masher or ricer to mash until smooth.
