  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 fresh red chili peppers, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: wash and chop vegetables, slice chicken into bite-sized pieces, mince garlic, and slice chili peppers.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced chili peppers; sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the pan, cooking until browned on all sides (about 5 to 7 minutes). Stir frequently.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar; mix well and simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Gently fold in fresh Thai basil just before serving. Serve hot over jasmine rice or with stir-fried vegetables.
